Autumn Outft Lust List

Its no secret that Autumn and Winter are my favourite Seasons and that is in the most part due to the clothes and outfits you can wear during this time of year.

I love layering, dark colours and chunky knits and after a browse on a few sites, its clear this season is all about that!

A good pair of Topshop jeans are a staple in my wardrobe year after year, with Joni and Leigh being my go to styles. So for me, my favourite day time looks has to be centred around a pair.

For this time of year, with the weather so hit and miss, its a great idea to layer. A checked shirt is a great idea and is very versatile. You can wear it un-buttoned over a tee or buttoned up for a different look. Just as with burgundy, the dark green colour in this shirt goes great with black/dark jeans.

Heeled boots are the ideal why to dress up any outfit and I'm a lover of a chunky heel. Missguided always have great footwear for anytime of year and with these boots, they don't disappoint.

Days out in the months leading up to Christmas usually lead to Christmas Shopping and therefore arms full of shopping bags. With this, it is important that you have a bag that firstly looks good (of course) but is practical as well. Dorothy Perkins have a number of lovely 'cross body' bags which are very very affordable and ideal for keeping hands free, which means being able to carry more shopping bags. Perfect!

And finally, no outfit is complete without a scarf/snood for the colder months. This Grey snood is a great addition to any outfit to keep you warm.

July Glossybox Review

The day my Glossybox arrives is my favourite  day of the month! Its like getting your own little present in the post.

Lets start with the presentation. This month to celebrate the  4th July, the box is in a stars and strips design. I love the themes Glossybox comes up with to make each box different.

In this months box is a full size Carmex Lip Balm, Color Club nail polish in 'Glossy Seal', Dr Bronner's Magic Liquid Soaps in 'Lavender', Bellapierre Cosmetics Ltd Mineral Lipstick and Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer.

Carmex Lip Balm is a product I've used previously and is an essential for any makeup or hand bag. Carmex has a great menthol scent that cools and moisturises your lips and is a great base for your lipstick.

I've been looking for a new Eyeshadow primer since my Urban Decay primer ran out and am excited to give this a try. It has a lot to live up to after using Urban Decay but this looks very promising! I'll keep you posted on this one on my Instagram.

I'm not usually a bright colour lipstick wearer, but this Orange is going to be great for summer either on its own or blended with a nude lipstick or a peachy shade.
With antioxidants and Vitamin C & E is great for keeping your lips looking healthy. It applies perfectly over Carmex too!

Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a massive nail polish fan! For summer it has to be brights but for Autumn/Winter its all about the darker shades. This  'Glossy Seal' shade by Colour Club will be perfect in Autumn with black jeans and a grey tee. The fact that its a full size bottle is great as you know its going to last!

I'm not usually a Lavender fan but something about this soap makes me think it will be perfect to help me relax in a hot bath after a long day at work. This has loads of oils such as coconut and jojoba as well as vitamin E which all have soothing effects. Great for chill time.

So as you can see, there's 5 full size products in this months Glossybox, all of which are something that I will use. The great thing with Glossybox is that you can complete the short quiz after signing up so that Glossybox can get to know the things you like to make up a box to suit you!

I can wait to see what next months box will bring!

Urban Decay - Naked 3 Palette

I love love love an Urban Decay Naked Palette and have always had to have each of the Palettes as soon as they have been released. The Naked 3 Palette was no exception.

There is no denying how beautiful the new palette from Urban Decay is with its rose-hued neutrals. The shimmery pink to deep, warm black, it is perfect for all occasions, day and night.

The combinations available with this palette alone are endless and are great for creating a smokey eye.

My favourites are from top to bottom; Strange, Dust, Liar and Blackheart

This palette is available from a number of department stores and RRP's at around £37, which is fantastic value for what you get. Also,  great for everyday use as it lasts for ages!

GHD Wonderland - Professional V Styler

So I've always been a fan of GHD's since I started using straighteners when I was 14 years old and I've been looking to purchase a new pair for a while now.

I've had my IV Styler for 3-4 years (my 2nd pair) and they have been reliable as ever. However, I felt it time to upgrade to the new V Styler as the plates on my old pair aren't quite what they were.

After looking on the GHD Website, I saw the Wonderland V Styler and anyone who knows me, knows I do love a limited edition! This styler shines with blue, lilac and teal shades and an iridescent finish. Very cool.

Included in the set is;
  • ghd V wonderland styler
  • Convertible heat-resistant styler bag & heat mat
  • 2 x ghd sectioning clips
  • Protective plate guard
You really do get a lot for your money with an RRP of £135.

I've been using my new GHD's for a while now and I can definitely tell the difference in the condition of my hair after using these, compared to my older pair. Although it is always important to use a Heat Defence! Tresemme Heat Defence is a particular fav of mine.

BooTea - The TeaTox For Weight Loss

BooTea - The TeaTox For Weight Loss

Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a big fan of a detox and when I found BooTea, I knew I had to try it.

The aim of the Bootea teatox is to cleanse & detox your body whilst significantly aiding weightloss. Something that I was looking for to kick start my wedding diet (Only 9 months to go!)

Seeing the results on their Intsagram page, @Booteauk, its clear to see that this products gives great results.

The products they offer are a 14 day TeaTox (£19.99) a 28 day TeaTox, which I have (currently on sale at £34.99 - usually £37.00) and the Day Time and Night Time Cleanse, sold separately (£10.99 each. There really is something for everyone, whether it be that you want to test it out or give it a go for 28 days.

In The TeaTox packs, you receive 1 Day Time Cleanse per day and a Night Time Cleans for every other night.

The natural ingredients found in Bootea can:
•    Increase your metabolism
•    Burn calories and convert food to energy
•    Burn fat & counteract fat storage
•    Regulate blood sugar levels
•    Assist in the digestion of food
•    Suppress appetite
•    Improve skin health
•    Improve quality of sleep
•    Cleanse & detoxify
•    Allow you to reach your health/weightloss goals

The taste of this tea is similar to that of Green Tea which I was pleasantly surprised with. If you're not used to drinking Green Tea, you may find this an acquired taste, however if you persist with it, you'll be used to it in no time.

BooTea also has a free eating plan on their site that can be used in conjunction with this TeaTox. The eating plan works to develop the detoxification process further therefore contributing to your weight loss goals.

I have started my TeaTox today and hope that in 28 Days time, I can see the results. Fingers crossed and I'll keep you posted on my progress on my Instagram @Emily___s.

Take a look at BooTea's Website for their informative FAQ's section to tell you all you need to know. You can find this here

Lovat Press Wedding Stationary

Lovat Press Wedding Stationary

So we have finally set a date for the big day and we are so excited! Having said that, its time to get organised and plan plan plan!

The first place we have started is with our Wedding Stationary. We searched high and low on the net to find the design we wanted and finally came across the company Lovat Press.

The designs that this company  has available are beautiful and so classy. Exactly what we were after. There is so much to choose from in a wide range of designs and colours to suit any wedding.

So I took a chance and I ordered my Save the Date cards prior to oordering a 'Sample Pack' and was so glad I did. We delighted with the Save the Date cards and so ordered the Sample Pack to see which other peices of Stationary we would like.

After ordering, I was contacted by Gillian from Lovat Press to see if we would like any details, or the colour, changed on the samples so that we could see exactly what our invites etc, would be like. I thought this was a great touch and made it very personal to us.

So from ordering to receiving, it took 2 days in total.  That includes personalising the smaples and posting them out which I thought was very effecient.

We will be ordering our stationary from here without a doubt, but dont worry if you dont have a wedding to plan, Lovat Press also have beautiful greetings cards that are very affordable.

If you would like to take a look at their site, you can find them  Here
